However, as lives are often busy accidents do happen and sometimes the inevitable can happen and your sofa gets damaged in some way.
Although we try to keep our prices competitive, replacing your sofa can be costly, therefore we recommend increasing your peace of mind and upgrading your cover to protect you from damage for 5 years. This will provide you with a free repair or even a replacement if the unfortunate happens.
This costs 10% of your sofa price and can be added at checkout.
Whats Covered?
Accidental Damage Cover
From Day 1 for 5 years
- Rips, tears, scuffs, punctures & burns
- Cuts, rips & tears
- Scuffs & scratches to leather or faux leather
- Snags and thread pull in fabric burns, for example, cigarettes or iron
- All pet damage – such as cat scratches, biting & chewing – is limited to 3 incidents.
Stains, from red wine to nail polish.
- Anything you, your family, friends or your pets can eat drink or pass.
- Any products related to cooking, cleaning or cosmetics.
- Paints, ink and glue (inc. superglue)
- All drinks such as red wine & coffee
- All foods such as curry & pizza
- All human and animal bodily fluids, such as blood & vomit
- All inks such as biro felt tip & permanent marker
- All paints such as oil & gloss
- All make ups such as nail polish & lipstick
- Any dye transferred as a result of clothing or newspaper print (not as a result of build up)
- All oil based stains such as grease & tar
- All adhesives such as glue & superglue
- All bleaches and other household cleaning products
- Any dyes, acidic liquids such as bleaches, caustic and corrosive substances such as vinegar & lemon juice

What’s Not Covered?
- Furniture used in commercial premises
- Deliberate damage
- Abuse or neglect
- Removal of odours
- Unidentified stains or damage
- Fading
- Gradual build-up of stains
- Wear and tear
- Build-up of bodily fluid stains (such as bodily oils/hair gels etc)
What Happens
1. Shortly after your delivery is completed you will receive a welcome pack from Emmiera Group Ltd Warranties (normally 24 hours but within 14 days)
2. This pack give you all the information that you require for your 5-year peace of mind.
3. If you have accidental damage, then contact Emmiera Group Ltd Warranties who will process the claim and instruct you further.
